The South Rwenzori Diocesan Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku, has urged the Christians to commit themselves to true repentance and desist from carrying heavy sinful loads.
The Bishop wonders why some believers in Christ pretend to be saved while in church but the same people are caught in sinful acts that do not portray their true Christianity.
He sounded the advice today morning while preaching to the Christians who had thronged St. Thomas Nyangorongo Church of Uganda Parish in Maliba Archdeaconry to witness the confirmation of 27 Christians into the Anglican faith.
The Bishop advised the Christians to always check their behaviors and desist from acts that might derail them from their journey of salvation.
The Prelate encouraged the Christians to prioritize forgiveness of their trouble causers and accept God’s grace to prevail over them.
