Learners in Kasese district have been urged identify role models from whom they can always seek career guidance as they advance their academics.
The message was sounded yesterday by Ven. Solomon Badaaki, the archdeacon at Kinyamaseke archdeaconry during the closure of the one-day careers’ guidance day at St. Barnabas Kinyamaseke archdeaconry where a number of candidates and sub-candidates of both primary and secondary schools where trained on question approach by various examiners ahead of their forthcoming exams later this year.
Ven Badaaki reiterated that it is critical for learners to have role models from whom they can get mentorship as they further their education and eventually transition into responsible citizens of society.
The man of God also urged learners in formal education to consider engaging embracing hands-on kills which he said will make them more helpful to the communities in which they are born.
Ven Badaaki also urged learners to always adhere to and comply with the school rules and regulations if they are to register success in their education.
