Shock engulfed residents of Kisanga village, Kihyo Parish of Kitswamba sub-county after one of the residents was found lifeless following a suspected suicide case.
Mr. Yonah Mughuda, the area local council one chairperson identified the deceased as 30-year-old Kiiza Sibibuka who allegedly hanged himself in a mango tree in Block C of Rugendabara-Kikongo Town Council.
Mr Mughuda explained that the deceased’s body was today morning found dangling in a mango tree by a passer-by who informed the authorities of the unfortunate incident.
The village chairperson, who revealed that the deceased also had revently developed mental health issues, said that it is unfortunate that Kiiza’s death comes barely a month after the death of two other people within their family. Mr. Mughuda explains: ……
He advised the people to always embrace seeking counseling services and sharing their problems with religious and civil leaders for possible solutions to their grievances noting that Kiiza’s alleged suicide might also have a relationship to domestic violence.Mr. Mughuda adds…. ENDS
