Christians in Kasese District have been urged to fight good battles with faith and live exemplary lives in whatever they do.
The advice was sounded today by the Kinyamaseke Archdeacon in South Rwenzori Diocese, the Ven. Solomon Badaaki while preaching to the mourners during the send-off of the body of the Late Lakeri Biira in Buhimbadele village, Kitsutsu parish in Munkunyu Sub-county.
According to Ven. Badaaki, the late Biira used her time on earth to serve the church including mentoring her children into people of value and God fearing.
Quoting from the Biblical Book of 2 Timothy 4:7-8, Ven. Badaaki noted that the Christians should emulate the people who wholeheartedly serve the Lord and build the church with all their hearts.
Ven. Badaaki also asked the mourners to have faith just borrowing a leaf from the deceased Biira who dedicated her life to God despite the struggles that she would go through.
