Christians in Kasese District have been called upon to have Jesus Christ in their lives and families for happier living.
The call was sounded on Sunday by Rev. Mathew Mbusa, the Station Manager at South Rwenzori Messiah Radio while preaching to the Christians who had thronged St. Paul’s Rwesande Church of Uganda, the headquarters of Rwesande Archdeaconry.
During the service, Mr. Vincent Kabinga, the General Secretary for the South Rwenzori Messiah Radio Listeners’ Club celebrated his 40th anniversary in marriage and 60 years ever since he was born.
In his preaching, Rev. Mbusa said the lives that people live in are meditated through their doings in the current situation.
Quoting the Biblical Book of Psalms 101, the Man of God said that the family that glorifies God has always been blessed, adding that the generations in those families have also been blessed.
He urged the Christians to change their lives and live in Godly ways for their generations to be blessed.
Rev. Can. Wilson Kighoma Nzaghale, the Archdeacon for Rwesande Archdeaconry, explained that in life, the people should avoid equating themselves to others, saying everyone has what plans for them.
He urged the Christians to always have respect for one another in marriage coupled with the people they live within the community.
Speaking in a jovial mood, Mr. Kabinga said he was thankful to God for the 40 years in marriage, describing them as a hard journey in life, asking the rest of the people to always stand firm in all situations.
