BY MATHIUS KAHUNGU
Couples in Kasese district have been encouraged to build their families on the foundation of Godliness as well as working as a team that promotes humility, love, perseverance and trust as they serve the purpose of their divine call.
The encouragement was sounded today morning by the Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku while presiding over a wedding service of the Rev. Deacon Jerald Kule Mutendandaji and Sanatah Kabugho who were tying their knot at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Kasese town.
The Prelate encouraged the couples to exhibit honour, trust and encouragement to one another coupled with embracing humility and forgiveness as some of the pivotal pillars on which long lasting marriages cling.
The Man of God observed the need for the couples to commit themselves to unity, putting God first in the endeavours, in addition to warning them against any acts of betrayal.
The bishop’s comments came shortly after the couple had exchanged vows to stick to each other regardless of the earthly hiccups and situations that might attempt to tear them apart.
