The Kasese Resident District Commissioner has warned against poor parenting among the parents and guardians across the entire district.
Lt. Joe Walusimbi’s warning follows a Sunday night strike of learners of Rwenzori High School in Ibanda – Kyanya Town Council.
According to Walusimbi, when he interacted with the school administrators, they told him that the strike resulted from immoral behaviors of the learners.
He cautions the parents to ensure instilling good morals in their children so that they can become good and responsible citizens.
The head of security in the district vows that they will continue arresting learners whom the teachers will pinpoint for igniting negative practices in the learning institutions.
