Authorities in Nyamwamba Division of Kasese Municipality have ganged up against residents who have allegedly failed to practice sanitation at their homes.
Mr. Pimako Kasereka, the Division Chairperson says it has come to his knowledge that there are some people who have deliberately refused to construct latrines and bathrooms at their homes.
According to him, others have deliberately refused to adhere to the proper ways of disposing garbage.
He has now issued an ultimatum of two weeks to such a category of people to have complied or else face the law.
Kasereka, on the other hand, wants the residents to listen to his piece of advice so that together they can fight against the likelihood of being hit by diseases including cholera and typhoid among others.
