Christians urged to prepare for the next destination

BY ISAAC MUMBERE

Christians wherever they are have been urged to prepare for their next destinations when they are still alive.

The advice was sounded last evening by the South Rwenzori Diocesan Director of Youth and Children’s Ministry, the Rev. Ven. Nelson Bwambale Isebagheni while preaching to the mourners who had thronged Buhuna village in Karambi sub-county to pay their last respect to the body of the Late Yokobo Muhindo Isebarongo Kima, the father to the former Kasese District Chairperson, Mr. Geoffrey Sibendire Bigogo.

Isebarongo, aged 96 died on Monday April 22, 2024 at Bwera Government General Hospital in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha Town Council.

Rev. Ven. Isebagheni, who also doubles as the Diocesan Field Officer for the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade, described the Late Isebarongo as a man who worked for his next destination through providing for the church and upbringing not only his biological children but also those outside his lineage.

The Anglican Church Minister used the same platform to call upon the people who are working in various offices to handle their fellows in a recommended and proper way.

According to him, some people do write reports about their fellows so that they lose their respective positions and offices, something he said should be avoided because it portrays hatred.
