The Rwenzori sub regional Commissioner for the Forum Democratic Change (FDC) has urged the members of the opposition party to work towards neutralizing the party’s internal contradictions.
Mr. Saulo Maate made the remarks today afternoon while addressing the journalists at the party branch offices in Kasese town.
Maate explained that if the opposition party must topple the ruling NRM government, it must exhibit cohesion and work as a single unit with a clearly defined agenda.
According to Maate, the way people are crossing from opposition to the ruling political party; is an indicator that the opposition members need to jointly rethink their strategies.
Maate also expressed concern over the increasing commodity prices which continue to increase the cost of living especially for low income earners.
