The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Royal nephews and nieces have called for unity among the subjects, asking the people to avoid being in conflict with the Kingdom laws but seek guidance from the royals in case of any grievances.
The call comes after Farida Jetrida Biira, one of the daughters of the Late Asinasi Muhindo Kinihira Kibanzanga declared lost interest in taking legal action against the Rwenzururu, Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma over the alleged misunderstanding that was brought up by the burial of the body of her fallen mother.
Speaking to the press on Thursday at Rwenzori International Hotel in Kasese town, Biira pleaded for pardon from the King and the entire subjects over the decision that she had made along with her sister Robina Komuthima of running to court to exhume the body of her late mother from Nyamirangara so that it is reburied in a place of their favour.
She subsequently called on her sister who is another complainant in the case to think of withdrawing it from court as a means of respecting the constitution of Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu.
Julius Ngalire Muthegheki, the Royal Chief Nephew cautioned his fellows to avoid speaking ill about the King via the different social media platforms. He called for guidance from all the royal officials in case of any grievances.
He revealed that such published grievances affect the kingdom’s reputation in the public calling for unity among them.
He also asked everyone to respect and support the five pillars of the Rwenzururu Kingdom in her rebranding process.
Aliah Biira, another royal niece hailed the social media bloggers for their positive content talking about Obusinga Rwenzururu. He, however, warned them against speaking ill against the King.
She called upon other royal nephews to unite, respect the King and others alongside seeking proper guidance from the Kingdom officials.
