The Archdeacon for Nyamwamba Archdeaconry in South Rwenzori Diocese, the Ven. Jozet Baluku Kyuma has tipped the students on the need to be creative and innovative as a way of beating the job crisis after completing their studies.

Ven. Kyuma sounded the remarks yesterday while preaching to the students at Liberty College of Management and Journalism in Kasese town during a service in which he was commissioning the Anglican Community and fundraising for the Public Address System for the chapel as well as boosting a radio studio for the journalism students.

The Man of God explained that relying on the qualifications only would not help much and advised the students to think beyond the box and develop some skills in order to earn a living as they wait for the white-collar jobs.

He used the same platform to encourage all the people to live Godly lives which according to him would lead to integrity and resect as key aspects that employers consider while recruiting workers.

The Bishop of the Pentecostal Church, Moses Okum, who was the Chief Guest at the fundraising, commended the administration of Liberty College of Management and Journalism for establishing the Anglican Community with an aim of spreading the Gospel of Christ.

He observed the need for the people to carry one another’s burdens if they are to realize development in their communities.

At the function, a cash of shillings 2.5 million and a pledge of shillings 1.1 million were realized.ENDS
