The Director for Rwentutu Christian School in Lake Katwe Sub- County Busongora County South, Mr. Luboyera Bronze has encouraged local residents to always take medical checkups in order to detect early infections.
Bronze sounded the encouragement yesterday while speaking to our reporter during a sports galla that was organized and sponsored by Rwentutu Christian School and “Dream team Organization” from Canada.
He noted that before the sports galla yesterday, they had conducted a medical camp on Thursday at the school where he revealed that more than 300 residents were diagnosed with various ailments.
Bronze, however revealed that ultra-tract infections and hypertension emerged the most prevalent ailments before revealing that they had opened up a Private Not for Profit Medical facility to attend to the community of Rwentutu.
Amos Junior Kule, one of the members of Dream Team Organization stressed that they decided to construct a modern basket court at Rwentutu Christian School to foster talent development within the community.
The head teacher at Rwentutu Christian School Lovius Magezi Mumbere commended the Dream Team Organization noting that the sports galla did not only create relationship with other private schools that participated but also giving back to the community through conducting a health camp and establishing a clinic that would be treating residents at the affordable costs.
A total of four primary schools participated in the netball and football galla including Rwentutu Christian School, Kinyaminagha Junior School and St Francis Primary School while Equator Line Centre Primary emerged the winner in both netball and football.ENDS.
