The Sole Sponsor for Kithulha Care Initiative, a Civil Society Organization based in Kasese Municipality, Mr. Francis Mugisa Kithulha has pledged continued support to some sports activities among the youth in an attempt to promote their talents.
Kithulha made the pledge yesterday while presiding over the finals for the 5th Division that were held at Nyakasanga Playground in Kasese town.
Kithulha noted that if given chance to represent Kasese Municipality in the 12th Parliament of Uganda come 2026, he would lobby for the development of sports facilities so that the activity is considered as a source of income to the youth.
He also pledged that as a sports lover, he would look for another sponsor to fund the district league which is taken as the 4th division according to FUFA rankings.
Richard Baluku, one of the youth who were sponsored by Kithulha Care Initiative to undergo a Referees’ Course hailed Francis Mugisa Kithulha for supporting the promotion of their skills for self reliance.
Marines Hamukungu Football Club won the trophy after beating Home United Football Club Katadoba two goals to nil and walked away with shillings 500,000 and Gold Medals while the runners-up were given shillings 300,000 on top of Silver Medals.
