At least 28 offices at the Kasese District new Administration Block have been completed.
The construction works that were started at Rukoki in 2005 had stalled for several years due to lack of funds.
Later, the district leadership injected shillings 600 million to construct the building up to the first floor.
In March 2022, Kasese District Local Government secured about Shillings 200 million from the Central Government to resume the construction works.
The District Chairperson, Mr. Eliphazi Muhindi Bukombi says they are ready to occupy the already completed rooms that will accommodate the political heads of department who will shift from the old buildings to pay way for their renovations so that they serve other purposes.
