Primary seven candidates wherever they are have been encouraged to be prayerful ahead of tomorrow’s Primary Leaving Examinations.

Primary Leaving Examinations will commence tomorrow and end on Thursday November 07.

Presiding over a prayer session yesterday at Katunguru Primary School in Lake Katwe Sub-county, the Sub-dean at St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Ven. Charles Mbusa observed need for the candidates to be prayerful to God for his protection and blessings as the attempt the examination papers in a bid to realize success.

Mrs. Annah Kule, the Head of Laity at St. Paul’s Cathedral who also doubles as the Head teacher for Katunguru Primary School applauded Ven. Mbusa for blessing the candidates and passing to them a word of encouragement, saying she was optimistic that the institution would register success as the results are released.

She also encouraged the candidates to embark on a serious revision and discouraged them from wasting their time during the course of examinations.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ernest Bwambale Thabugha, the Kasese District Principal Education Officer, has sounded a stern warning to the teachers to desist from the practice of engaging learners in issues related to malpractice, arguing that the act could lead to confiscation of results for the entire institution.

He also called upon the parents to ensure that their children are fully prepared to sit for the final examinations to avoid some inconveniences.
