Rev. Fr. Richard Sausi Businge, the Parish Priest at Kidodo Pastoral Centre in the Catholic Diocese of Kasese has encouraged the residents of Railway Ward in the Central Division of Kasese Municipality to utilize the existing institutions of learning within the area to educate their children.

Rev. Fr. Sausi, who says the Railway Ward, is blessed with giant institutions of learning including St. Leo’s College of Sciences and Technologies, African Ark College of Management Sciences and Rwenzori International University among others that offer very important courses, appeals to the residents to seek services from such schools for their economic and social transformation.

According to him, such institutions also come along with development in the area.

He sounded the encouragement today afternoon while preaching to the congregation during a mass that also involved swearing in of the Guild Council members at St. Leo’s College of Sciences and Technologies.

The Church Minister used the same podium to implore the parents in Kasese district to enroll their children in schools within the district at all levels, adding that they too have qualified teachers and are registered by the Ministry of Education and Sports.

In his remarks, the Managing Director at St. Leo’s College of Science and Technologies, Eng. Ronald Bwambale Kabuku, revealed that they were returning thanks to God for having enabled them establish an institution that has so far completed one and a half years.
