An Anglican Church Minister attached to South Rwenzori Diocese has expressed concern over the alleged poor infrastructural development in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha Town Council, Kasese district.

Rev. Aeneas Kakundere, the Vicar at All Saints Customs Church of Uganda Parish expressed his concern yesterday afternoon while preaching to the mourners at the burial of a 39-year -old policeman.

Rev. Kakundere noted that he sometimes gets surprised whenever he sees poor roads in a place known international as a business hub.

He also cited the poor state of some schools in the area which according to him do not encourage quality education to the ever-growing school going population in the urban centre.

The Church Minister appealed to the leaders to prioritize the idea of developing such communities for the people to live better lives.

The Bukonzo County West Member of Parliament, Godfrey Atkins Katusabe pledged to advocate for improved development in the constituency through writing letters and submitting them to the relevant offices when he goes back to Kampala.

He cited the alleged challenge of imbalances in the distribution of jobs to the people in the district.
