The Rwenzururu King (Omusinga) Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma has asked the business fraternity to partner with the cultural institution in an attempt to realize development.
The Omusinga sounded the remarks yesterday while addressing the members of the business community from the entire Kingdom at Rwenzori International Hotel in Kasese town.
The King who described business as key as far as development is concerned observed need for the businessmen and women to work together for the development of the Kingdom.
The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Joseph Kule Muranga applauded the business fraternity for their unity and support to the cultural institution.
The Kasese District Commercial Officer, Mr. Simon Kasereka, observed need for the businessmen and women to be attending budget conferences so that they also take part in the planning process.
Mr. Adam Bwambale, one of the business people, asked the Omusinga to lobby for them a special fund that they can be borrowing and pay affordable interests.
