Minister of Local Government, Raphael Magyezi, has announced the resumption of the nationwide enforcement of trade order across Uganda.
Speaking in Kampala, Magyezi said the move was approved by Cabinet during its meeting on April 27, 2026.
He warned that traders will not be allowed to return to unauthorized trading spaces, as the government moves to restore order in urban centers.
