The Prime Minister of Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Rt. Hon Benson Kule Baritazale has re-echoed his call for unity and peaceful co-existence among the people of Kasese district.
Rt Hon Baritazaale says despite the ethnic diversity and the cosmopolitan nature of the district, all efforts ought to be geared towards fostering peaceful existence.
While closing the three-day Rwenzori Theluji Festival at Rwenzori Square in Kasese town, the premier noted that for Kasese to develop further as a top tourism destination, the people must embrace peace and work towards maintaining.
The Kasese District Chairperson Mr Eriphaz Muhindi Bukombi appreciated the organisers of the Theluji Festival before highlighting the need for numerous cross-cultural exhibitions that will help build social cohesion within the communities. ENDS
