FDC members in Kasese district have collected more 450 kilograms of cassava to be given to the land victims currently encamped at the RDC’s offices in Kasese town.
Mr. Ronald Bwambale Kabuku, the District FDC Chairperson says in addition to the 500 kilograms that were collected yesterday, the members added more 450 kilograms that have been received at his office.
According to him, they will take the whole week collecting food and non- food items from the members of the public.
He applauded the people who have so far donated, noting that they had fulfilled a call of supporting those in need.
He called on the victims in the camp to remain calm and peaceful.
