NRM leaders in Kasese district have been asked to strongly work towards erasing the weaknesses in the party as an alternative means of closing the gaps within the political organization.
The remarks were sounded yesterday by Mr. Nelson Ocheger, the Chairperson for the Coordinating Committee of Mr. David Calvin Echodu who is seeking to be voted by the Kasese District NRM delegates for the position of National Vice Chairperson in-charge of Eastern Region on the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the party.
Ocheger stressed that since the NRM party recently elected new structures, the leaders ought to work tirelessly to identify all the weaknesses that normally result into divisions amongst the members in a bid to strengthen its movement.
However, Hon. Boaz Kafuda, the Kasese District NRM Vice Chairperson pledged to work closely with his fellow leaders in order to have the party win majority of the elective positions in the forthcoming 2026 General Elections without any form of misunderstandings.
He implored the members of the District NRM delegates’ team to support Echodu so that he becomes the National Vice Chairperson for the Eastern Region on the Central Executive Committee.
Meanwhile, Mr. David Calvin Echodu, hailed the delegates from Kasese for the love and support accorded to the party activities.
He subsequently asked NRM leaders to mobilize the people and ensure that Kasese becomes a stronghold of NRM.
