A heavy down pour has destroyed Yeriko Church of Uganda in Munkunyu Parish, Kinyamaseke Archdeaconry in South Rwenzori Diocese leaving Christians stranded.
Mr. Morris Alpha Deya, the Youth Leader for Munkunyu Church of Uganda Parish says the Sunday evening down pour did not spare the newly constructed church building.
According to him, the Christians at the said church are now finding it hard to attend to the Sunday services especially when it is raining.
He called upon well-wishers and the office of the Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese to come to their rescue before the remaining part of the church building also becomes affected.
