The Minister of State for Trade, Hon. Gen. Wilson Mbasu Mbadi has observed need for unity in diversity among the people in Kasese district as the only tool that fuel development coupled with supporting the ruling government.
Gen. Mbadi noted that once is promoted, the young ones would access a good learning environment among other development associated things.
He made the observation yesterday afternoon while addressing the local leaders from Bukonzo County during the thanksgiving ceremonial preparatory meeting that was held at Holy Dove Vocational Secondary School in Kinyamaseke Town Council.
He noted that working together without segregation in tribes, culture and religion was a key pillar in all aspects.
Gen. Mbadi also lectured the leaders to encourage the community members to embrace vocational skills as an alternative way of solving the challenge of unemployment among the youth.
In his remarks, the Minister of State in-charge of National Guidance, Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga, who lectured the leaders about the importance of agriculture, observed need for the community members to embrace commercial farming especially coffee growing, adding that government was currently streamlining its process for the farmers to access a good market.
The Kasese District Chairperson, Eliphaz Muhindi Bukombi revealed during the meeting that they were more than ready to host the Head of State at a function that has been rescheduled from November 30 to December 07 at Kaguta Grounds in Nyakatonzi Sub-county. ENDS
