The Minister of State for ICT and National Guidance, Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga Kiime on Thursday donated 3,170 mathematical sets to the primary seven candidates in Bukonzo County West, Kasese district ahead of the 2024 Primary Leaving Examinations slated for next week.
At least all candidates from the 56 government grant-aided primary schools benefited from the donation that was delivered to the Head teachers at Kiime Resort in Mpondwe- Lhubiriha Town Council by Mr. Enock Friday Bwambale, the Minister’s Political Assistant.
Bwambale explained that the mathematical sets were a sign of wishing success to the candidates ahead of their final exams.
Kabbyanga, who is also the Bukonzo County West Parliamentary seat in the forthcoming general elections, donated the mathematical sets to all 56 government aided primary schools in the constituency.
Mr. Enos Nyabutundu, Kabbyanga’s Personal Assistant in-charge of Bukonzo County West revealed that they decided to give out mathematical sets to the primary seven candidates since they were essential in exams.
Some of the Head teachers who received the mathematical sets on behalf of their candidates applauded Kabbyanga for the donation that they described as timely.
Mr. Peter Sunday Kakule, the Nyakiyumbu Sub-county Chairperson, who also doubles as the Chairperson of all the eight L. CIII Chairpersons across the constituency commended Kabbyanga for the donation that he said would described as an encouragement not only to the candidates but also the entire pupils.
