BY JOACKIM KULE

Mr. Moses Muhindo Ssesabyona, a resident of Mahango sub-county in Kasese district who recently crossed from the ruling NRM party to NUP has denounced the opposition political party.

Ssesabyona, who in 2016 contested for the Bukonzo County East Parliamentary seat in the NRM primary elections and lost to Fred Businge Police, later joined NUP with hopes of obtaining the same seat.

Today afternoon, he declared his defection before the Mahango Sub – county NRM Chairperson, the Deputy Resident District Commissioner and the press at the RDC’s office un Kasese town.

He explained that for the little time has been supporting the opposition NUP party; he has cited a number of loopholes and inabilities in regard to attaining power.

According to Ssesabyona, members of the NUP are allegedly disorganized and do not have an orderly way for their struggles.

Mr. Julius Bwambale Mwanguhya, the Mahango sub -county NRM Chairperson, welcomed the defector and implored him to mobilize for the party as he had started in the recent years.

Kasese Deputy RDC in-charge of Bukonzo County, Lt. Maate Magwara appealed to the rest of the party members to work with the defector for the progress of their ruling party.
