South Rwenzori Diocesan Bishop tips people on saving

The Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku has reiterated the need for the residents in Kasese district to embrace the saving culture.

The Prelate re-echoed the remarks yesterday while addressing the congregation shortly after leading a confirmation service at St. Andrew’s Nyakatoke Church of Uganda Parish in Kasese Archdeaconry.

The Man of God encouraged the congregation to join some saving groups and discouraged them from spending extravagantly without considering their future demands.

He observed the need for the farmers to plant a variety of crops including cocoa on the various pieces of land where coffee does not well. Bishop.

In a separate development, the Prelate asked the residents in Kasese district to embrace unity and peaceful co-existence in a bid to realize development

According to the Bishop, continuous ethnic and religious wrangles cannot build Kasese but instead lead to slow growth and development.
