Sam Baluku, one of the people who competed for the Kasese Municipality NUP Parliamentary flag but lost to Robert Muthoma has broken silence and officially declared to rally behind all the party’s flag bearers in Kasese district.
Mr. Baluku told the press conference last evening at Bamboocha Gardens in Kasese town that as strong supporters of NUP, they had harmonized and agreed to rally behind flag bearers at all levels across the district.
He said despite losing the flag to Mr. Muthoma, he remained committed to the party core values, adding that the initiatives he had started would continue, especially paying school fees to the orphans.
He used the same platform to reveal that he had been chosen as the official campaigning agent for Fatuma Kamama, the Kasese District hopeful for the position of Woman Member of Parliamenton the NUP ticket.
