The retired Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese Rt Rev Zebedee Kahangwa Masereka has tipped associates of the Muhoozi Kainerugaba–MK Project in Kasese district to stick to the National Resistance Movement-NRM party ideology.

The Bishop made the remarks on Saturday while addressing associates of the MK project at the District Multipurpose Hall in Kasese town.

The project architects intend to field President Museveni’s son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba who is also a presidential advisor on special operations for the presidency of this country in the next general election.

Bishop Masereka, a self-confessed sympathizer of the NRM who is also a Special Presidential Assistant in-charge of Western Uganda emphasised the need for the well-wishers of MK Project to be guided by not only the law but also by the ideology of the ruling party that that focuses on sustainable socio-economic stability and prosperity for all Ugandans. The retired bishop also emphasised the need for residents of Kasese to work towards attaining peace and unity within the district that has been previously entangled in conflict for a long time.
