The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) in Kasese has reminded the District Councilors to present more evidence implicating the people who were mentioned in the probe committee’s report on corruption allegations in the District Service Commission before council expected to sit tomorrow.
On December 03, a committee which has constituted by the District Council presented its findings after close to two months while carrying out its investigations.
The committee observed that there were some corruption tendencies in the Service Commission especially when it comes to giving jobs to some applicants.
Now, Mr. Ronald Bwambale Kabuku, the Kasese District FDC Chairperson alleges that the committee only reported 10% of the evidence given by the community members pinning some of the officials in the district.
Addressing the press yesterday at his office, Kabuku, who said that after the December 03 Council session, some councilors had been coming to him and other stakeholders to look for more evidence, noted that it was his prayer that such evidence be submitted during their sitting slated for tomorrow.
He also appealed to them to embrace the idea of investigating some officials who were mentioned by the probe committee when they are out of office.
