Dr. Chrispus Kiyonga, the Member of Parliament elect for Bukonzo County West in Kasese District has encouraged the population to embrace chicken rearingas one of the economic activities that can fetch money to support their families.
According to Dr. Kiyonga, if one uses the local methods of protecting the chicks, the multiplication of chicken would increase at a higher rate.
Kiyonga who doubles as the Chairperson for the NRM Party in Bukonzo County West believes that if the community members exhibit total cooperation, market for different commodities would be achieved.
One Nya Mayimuna, a chicken dealer in Bwera Town appreciated the continuous messages of Dr. Kiyonga that focus on improving the economic base of a local person.
