Members of the People’s Front for Freedom in Busongora County South, Kasese District have decided to front Mr. Sedrack Bakulirahi to vie for the parliamentary seat in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.
The members affirmed their decision yesterday afternoon during a meeting in which they were setting strategies on how they would popularize their new party to the community members in the constituency and the district at large.
The meeting was held at Flomat Restaurant in Kamaiba Lower Cell of the Central Division in Kasese Municipality.
Ms Rosette Kabugho described Bakulirahi as a suitable candidate to compete with competitors from other political parties.
She explained that their aim was to unseat the NRM leaders whom she accused of allegedly not performing to the satisfaction of the community members.
Mr. Kighina Masereka, another resident appealed to the people to accord support to any candidate who would be given the flag to represent them at any level.
On his part, Mr. Bakulirahi who is expected to pick expression of interest and nomination forms today pledged to effectively serve the people adding that it was only PFF with the vision of leading the people.
He called upon the youth to embrace the ideology of the party and support it to takeover government.
