BY ISAAC MUMBERE

The People’s Front for Freedom-PFF Kasese Chapter has expressed the commitment of the opposition party to participate in the forthcoming election of the local council one chairpersons.

Mr Saulo Maate, an eminent member of the Council of Eminent Persons, the top most organ of the country’s youngest political party, says they have intensified mobilization to identify flag bearers to represent the party in the next election.

Maate has appealed to all members of the party not waiver in their commitment to dislodge the NRM government and to work towards ensuring the party registers success.

He made the remarks today during a press conference convened at the party offices in Kasese town.

Maate used the same chance to ask the local council one chairpersons to join the campaign to bring to an end the alarming rate of domestic violence in the district.

He noted that village leaders who foster unity and cooperation are a fulcrum for the sociology-economic transformation of communities.
