The opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) has demanded for justice of her supporters who are allegedly intimidated as they carry out their political activities.
The demand was sounded today by the NUP Party President, Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine who was the Chief mourner during a ceremony in which the people were paying their last respect to the body of the Late Esther Marinos Alexandria a strong NUP supporter and activist for change at Kisagazi Cell in Kasese town.
Ms. Alexandria died from Kampala due to yet undisclosed disease.
Addressing the mourners, Hon. Kyagulanyi revealed that himself and his supporters still face intimidation from government arguing that they are perceived as criminals hence leading to unlawful arrests.
Kyagulanyi, who condoled with the bereaved family,called upon his supporters to remain strong despite facing the challenges in pursuit for change, describing Alxendaria as hero.
Ms Zeresi Lauka Kauli, the Woman Councillor representing Nyakasanga West to Kasese Municipal Council observed the need for justice of women especially those in opposition seeking change.
Mr. Bryans Basiisa, the Kasese district NUP Chairperson asked the supporters to remaindisciplined and law abiding as they go on with their political activities.
