Minister Kabbyanga declares his intention to contest for Bukonzo County West Parliamentary seat

The State Minister for ICT and National Guidance, Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga Kiime has officially declared his intention to contest for the Bukonzo County West Parliamentary seat in the forthcoming general elections.

Hon. Kabbyanga made the declaration today afternoon while addressing the press at Kiime Resort in Mpondwe – Lhubiriha Town Council.

Kabbyanga, who said believes in NRM as his political, revealed that he had started holding some consultative meetings with the party members in the constituency.

He noted that his vision was to represent the constituency and connect it to the Central Government for improved service delivery.

The Minister, who also commented about yesterday’s visit of Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at State House, Entebbe, described their meeting as a fruitful one, adding that it what the two discussed and agreed upon will benefit the people of Kasese and the entire Rwenzori Region.

About Kilembe Mines Hospital, Kabbyanga revealed that government was working hard to ensure that the health facility keeps operational to serve the public.

According to him, government is currently looking for a potential investor to revamp Kilembe Mines and other associated projects including Kilembe Mines Hospital.
