Lawyer tips Kasese leaders on what to tell President Museveni

Mr. Robert Asingya Muthoma, a Lawyer in Kasese Municipality has observed the need for the Kasese District leadership to remind President Museveni to revamp the projects that have taken long without operating.

In a press conference held today at his office in Kasese town, Mr. Muthoma mentioned Katwe Salt Factory, Muhokya Lime Works and Upgrading of Kasese Airfield to an international airport among others.

Muthoma stressed that if utilized positively, they would provide employment opportunities to the youth among other categories of people.

Mr. Livingstone Kato Zunguka, one of the people who have expressed their interests to vie for the Central Division Chairpersonship said there was need for the political leadership to engage the leadership of Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu to effectively implement government programs.

Their concerns follow the Presidential tour on the Parish Development Model in the Rwenzori Sub-region.

The President who finalized his three-day tour in the Rwenzori Sub-region last evening with a public rally at Nyakasanga Playground revealed that the NRM government was deliberate on her strategies to tackle a particular issue at a time until Uganda graduates to a well developed country.
