Kisinga archdeacon Rev Joset Baluku Kyuma is preaching the message of stable families especially among the elite.
According to Rev Kyuma, mutual respect is very is essential for any family to survive the test of time, emphasizing the critical need for humility before your partners despite whatever position one holds in society.
The man of God made the remarks while preaching at St Paul’s Kajwenge Parish in Kisinga Archdeaconry where 27 women were enrolled in the Mothers’ Union and 21 men enrolled to the Fathers’ Union movements. He emphasized the need for wives to always be submissive to their husbands while quoting the Biblical book of Ezakiel 14: 16.
He also noted that stable families play a critical role in grooming upright children who eventually transform into responsible citizens.
Mr. Sadrach Kasughisi one of the fathers union members who were enrolled today in the Fathers’ Union testified that for over 45 years that he has spent in marriage, he has never had a physical fight with his wife emphasizing the need to apologise and forgive whenever one errs.
Mrs Lucy Masereka the Mother’s Union leader of Kajwenge parish encouraged the mothers to respect their husbands as the heads of their families.
At the same service, the congregants also bade farewell to Rev Kyuma who has since been transferred to Nyamwamba Archdeaconry. ENDS
