Kasese District Council has resolved to name 1.5 kilometers of the Kiburara – Kagando – Kisinga road after the name of the fallen District Councilor, Moses Bwambale Kifalo in memory of his good works.

The same council sitting today at Nyamugasani Primary School playground and chaired by the Speaker, Johnson Mayora also resolved to name one of the busiest Streets at Kiburara Trading Centre after the name of the fallen District Councilor representing Kisinga Sub-county.

While moving the motion before the council sitting, Mr. Ham Natuhwera, the District Councilor representing Nyakatonzi Sub-county, who also doubles as the Secretary for Production and Marketing, said naming the road and street after Moses Bwambale Kifalo was a way of appreciating and recognizing his hard works during his stay in council.

The motion was unanimously seconded by all the members of council and a resolution was immediately reached.

However, when asked about the council’s next course action as far as helping the family of their fallen councilor is concerned, Mr. Mayora said other arrangements would be made administratively after consultations from the family members.

Hon. Moses Bwambale Kifalo, 42, whose body was buried today in Nyamughasana village in Kisinga Sub-county, died on Sunday at Muhokya after being involved in a fatal road accident.
