Kasese leaders pledge support to companies offering motorcycles on loans

Leaders in Kasese district have commended companies offering motorcycles on a loan basis for helping the youth live self-employed lives as well as promoting socio-economic transformation in their families. 

The leaders sounded the remarks last evening at the official opening of new offices for Haojin Motorbikes along Kilembe road in Kasese town.

Haojin Motorbikes will be sold by Erri Bikes Uganda Limited on both loan and cash basis to the customers in groups and individually.

Justus Mbusa, the Local Council I Chairperson for Kisanga B Cell in Nyamwamba Division was happy that the youth had been mobilized by the loaning companies to realize self-employment for the sustainability of their families.

He, however, challenged the riders to uphold their activity as an economic venture that would enable them change their standards of living.

Mr. Tien Tsongo, the Assistant RDC for Kasese District challenged the riders to be trustworthy when offering services to their clients in an attempt to protect their reputation. 

The Rwenzori East Regional Community Liaisons Officer, ASP Solomon Akiki cautioned boda-boda riders against handling their motorbikes carelessly.

Ms Barbra Alinya, the Country Sales Officer for Haojin Company appealed for cooperation among the community members as they obtain motorcycles to ease their movements and promote domestic activities.
