The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) President, Eng. Patrick Oboi Amuriat has revealed that the party remains strong and determined to causing change of the country’s leadership despite having lost some members to the newly created People’s Front for Freedom (PFF).

Eng, Amuriat sounded the revelation this evening while addressing the press shortly after the Kasese District FDC party members’ meeting that was held at Equator Guest House in Kasese town.

The meeting was meant to prepare the legible members to participate in the vetting of the Presidential candidate vying for the party flag and to also announce to them the names of two candidates including Nathan Nandala Mafabi and Amuriat himself.

Eng. Amuriat stressed that the party remains unworried of the People’s Front for Freedom because it was created for no genuine reasons and allegedly has bad will to the leadership of FDC.

According to him, whereas there are allegations that some of the party members in Kasese could have joined the new party, they have not run sort of the potential candidates.

He appealed to the members to work hard and ensure that the country is liberated from the current regime.

The FDC Party Chairman, Mr. Jack Sabiti, appealed to the members to be disciplined and abide by the party’s constitution as way of sustaining their political strength.

The Kasese FDC Chairperson, Mr. Ronald Bwambale Kabuku said despite the establishment of the new party, FDC will win all the elective political positions.
