Residents in Kasese district have been asked to educate their children to their fullest as a way of remembering the legacy left behind by the Late Dr. Arthur Muhindo Syahuka.
The remarks were sounded today by the Kasese District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Florence Kabugho while speaking to the mourners at the burial of the body of the Late Dr. Syahuka in Kyabolokya I cell, Mpondwe- Lhubiriha Town Council.
Hon. Kabugho, who described the late Dr. Syahuka as a historical who inspired many men and education in Kasese district to attain formal education, observed the need for the parents to educate their children as a way of leaving sounding legacies when they depart from the world.
In a related development, Dr. Chrispus Walter Kiyonga, the Chancellor of Makerere University, told the mourners that research has always indicated that a big number of children who join schools at lower primary levels do not make it to the complete their studies.
He implored the parents to always encourage their children to stay in schools until their complete their studies for the development of their respective communities.
