Christians cautioned against the practice of keeping anger

BY MATHIUS KAHUNGU

The Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku has cautioned the Christians against the act of keeping anger and hatred.

The Bishop sounded the caution today morning while preaching to the congregation at St. Stephen’s Kyanjuki Church of Uganda Parish in Nyamwamba Archdeaconry where he had gone to confirm 54 Christians into the Anglican faith.

The prelate instead observed the need for love and forgiveness among the people and discouraged the Christians from keeping anger.

According to him, some people even keep the anger without justification while others base on historical hearsays, prompting them to hate others for no good reason.

Quoting the Biblical Book of Ephesians 2:4, the Man of God asked the Christians abandon everything that could hinder them from getting peace, asking, them to build a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Prelate used the same podium to implore the Christians to desist from the act of selfishness and tribalism if they are to realise development in their communities and the country at large.
