A row erupts between Kasese FDC and PFF leaders

BY JOACKIM KULE MUHESI

A row has erupted between the leadership of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) and the People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) in Kasese district.

Mr. Ronald Bwambale Kabuku, the Kasese District FDC Chairperson has accused the PFF leader, Mr. Saulo Maate for allegedly failing to instill discipline among his party supporters across the district.

Kabuku argues that Maate who headsPFF in Kasese district has failed to discipline the members to respect the FDC party that they recentlyleft.

Speaking to the press yesterday morning at the FDC offices in Kasese town, Kabuku argued that the PFF party members are reported to have grabbed their office in Maliba Town Council, Busongora County North and subsequently painted it with their logos, describing the act as a sign of disrespect.

Kabuku warned the PFF members to stop interfering with the FDC party which he described as strong and has a serious stake in the elections across the district than the PFF which emerged recently which according to him is without any clear focus.

Responding to Kabuku’s accusations, Maate lashed at the FDC party leaders for claiming a house that the party doesn’t pay rent for since the establishment of their claimed office.

The outspoken Maate instead revealed that they would continue fishing out strong figures from FDC, arguing that he had not shown levels of organization.

Mr. Willia Mulyangasu, a member of PFF described FDC as a party that is operating without clear leadership.
