A family in Kyondo sub-county needs financial support to meet the medical bills of the injured persons

Family members of Ms Peregia Nyangoma from Kyamakungu village in Kyondo sub-county, Kasese district who was recently injured by her biological son is now struggling to meet the hospital bills.

Early this week, Vincent Muhindo Punyunyu injured four people using a panga before he was shot by the security operatives and later pronounced dead.

The injured were rushed to Kagando Hospital in Kisinga Town Council and have since been discharged but seeking assistance from well-wishers.

Mr. Selestine Masereka, the father of the Late Punyunyu reported that he was steadily improving but still scared on how the wife will get well after being referred to another health facility for specialized treatment.

Simon Muhindo, the elder son of Nyangoma said all the medical bills are supposed to be met by the family which has some financial challenges.

According to Muhindo, at Kagando hospital, they are being denuded over shillings 2 million while at Mt. St. Mary’s hospital in Kasese town where the patient has been referred, at lest 1,2 million is urgently required from the family to have the bones boosted.

He appealed to the government, well-wishers and nongovernmental organizations to come to their rescue.
