Jane Asiimwe Muhindo, the former Kasese District Deputy Speaker and Female Youth Councilor, has been appointed as the Resident City Commissioner for Kampala City.
Her appointment was announced today afternoon during a reshuffle of the Resident District Commissioners, Resident City Commissioners and their Deputies by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Previously, Muhindo served as the RDC for Bunyangabu district before being transferred to Bushenyi and Rwempara in the same position.
Meanwhile, Lt. Joe Walusimbi has been maintained as the RDC for Kasese district. He will be deputized by Lt. Maate Magwara Sebakira in-charge of Bukonzo County and Mr. Zepher Mubingwa in-charge of Busongora County who were also maintained.
Other deployments include that of Mr. Joshua Masereka, who has been transferred from Bunyangabu district as RDC to Hoima in the same position and Pulkeria Kunihira B Muhindo who has been maintained as the RDC for Buhweju.
