Kithulha Care Initiative, a Community Based Organization operating in Kasese Municipality and other parts of the district has launched an exercise of rewarding the candidates who excelled in the recently released 2023 Uganda Certificate of Examinations (UCE) and their best teachers.
The exercise that targets candidates and teachers from government grant-aided and privately owned schools started today in Nyamwamba Division at Kasese Muslim Secondary School where the best candidates from all secondary schools within the Division were given mattresses and blankets respectively.
While handing over the donation to the best candidates, Mr. Francis Mugisa Kithulha, the official sponsor of Kithulha Care Initiative, explained that the programme aims at transforming the educational standards in Kasese Municipality.
He used the same podium to encourage all the students who are legible voters to overwhelmingly participate in the forthcoming election exercise.
Mr. Herbert Bwambale, the Municipal Secretary for Social Services who represented the Mayor at the function, hailed the learners and teachers for their good performance that he attributed to their commitment and support from well-wishers in the education sector.
Some of the beneficiaries hailed Kithulha Care Initiative for the donation
