Two people have been rushed to Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Kasese Town after sustaining severe injuries following an accident that occurred along Mboghoyabo road in Nyamwamba division.
The accident happened this evening at around 5pm when two motorcycles had a head-on collision throwing the two riders on the ground.
An eyewitness, Dorozia Owomugisha Mukiga says that the two were immediately rushed to Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
By press time, police from the central police station had reached the scene to document before towing the motorcycles away from the scene.
However, traffic police has always cautioned motorists against speeding blaming it for more than 50 percent of all fatal road accidents. ENDS
