Kagando Institute of Health Sciences located in Kisinga Town Council, Bukonzo County East in Kasese District has registered outstanding results in the recently released December 2025 Uganda Health Professions Assessment Board (UHPAB) examinations.
The school has obtained a remarkable percentage pass of 99.8%.
The institute had 174 candidates who sat for their final examinations across various programs including diploma in Nursing, Midwifery and Medical Laboratory Technology as well as certificate in Nursing and Midwifery.
Mr. Rabson Mbusa Wanzanguhya, the school’s Principal Tutor says the results which were released on March 06, 2026 by the Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataaha Museveni, who also doubles as the First Lady, saw their institution excel with flying colours and attributed such a performance to the good environment accorded to the learners by the facility.
He also attributes the success to the efforts of the students, parents and Tutors, Clinical mentors, the management committee and the Board of Kagando Rural Development Centre (KARUDEC).
