Bwera School of Nursing and Midwifery has been named among the top-performing nursing schools in the Rwenzori Sub-region following the release of the December 2025 UHPAB Examination results.
Speaking today morning during a function that was organized to celebrate the good performance of the students at the school’s premises in Kaserengethe Ward, Mpondwe- Lhubiriha Town Council, the Principal Tutor Evelyn Ithungu announced that over 500 students who sat for the 2025 UHPAB Examinations obtained a remarkable percentage pass of 97.5%.
Ithungu attributed the performance to the commitment and discipline of the learners coupled with the Tutors’ commitment.
Wilberforce Nyamambi, the School’s Academic Registrar, reported that the milestone was due to the parents’ commitment in terms of playing their roles and responsibilities including paying school fees.
Hezekiah Kule, the Guild President at the school and VanitahMasiko, the Vice Guild President, attributed the achievement to the students, parents and Tutors’ dedication
Lawson Kamakeka and LoinusMusokiboth students also credited the conducive environment at the school which according to them contributed to the students’ success.
